Travelling to Ottawa
Getting from the airport to Carleton University by public transportation (light rail train) takes about 30 minutes. Take the train until it kicks you off at South Keys, then take another train south towards Bayview, getting off at Carleton U.
A taxi from the airport to Carleton University costs around $35.
You can also reach Ottawa by Via rail.
To get from the train station to Carleton University by light rail takes about 45 minutes. Take the train west towards Tunney's Pasture, transfer to Line 2 at Bayview, then take the train south to Carleton U. (A quicker bus option may be found with the OC transpo route planner.

Accommodation
Carleton University is located near downtown Ottawa.
Most of the nearest hotel accommodation is downtown Ottawa; if staying there, we recommend using the light rail train system to get to Carleton.

The Business Inn. Rate is $181.08/night for a Studio Suite (including taxes, and subject to change depending on availability). Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the stay. Downtown, about 4km from Carleton.
LIV extended stay. Rate is $319/night plus taxes for a 1-bedroom suite (subject to change depending on availability. To book you may email concierge@irent.com. Downtown, about 2.5km from Carleton.
Sunnyside B and B. Rate is $215 or $235/night (including taxes). This is a small place with only two suites available. Must be paid at time of booking. About 500m from Carleton.
